Clifford Sage b. 1985 W-S-M UK is a Technical Artist with over 15 years of experience and a recent Lecturer in 3D Design for the UCL BA Media programme. His practice spans moving‑image work, bespoke installations, VR environments, and live performance, developed through close collaboration with a wide range of clients and creative partners.
He began his creative journey studying Graphic Design at Liverpool John Moores University before completing an MA in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art. This design‑driven foundation continues to shape his approach, combining meticulous technical execution with a strong aesthetic sensibility and an interest in experimental, process‑led work. Alongside his academic and artistic practice, Sage brings more than a decade of experience working within game engine pipelines, particularly Unreal Engine, with expertise in rigging, animation, procedural systems, and real‑time workflows. He remains deeply engaged with the evolving landscape of digital art and interactive media, approaching each project with curiosity, technical rigour, and a sustained enthusiasm for the industry’s future. |
