RECSUND ProDance® The recsund ProDance® is an Audio Visual Project combining many functionalities into one, it has been the visual basis of the Quantum Natives release Intellectual Reject series and acts as a moving image medium across live visuals, game play mechanics, story telling and Virtual Reality ventures. Initially a light-hearted experiment, the ProDance® has grown respect in the art and music community, being show live at the ICA 2017 and at Drawing Room gallery London 2016 but also UK comedy network with Adult Swim UK re-releasing the Where's My Stick Video. The Project continues as part of recsund Quantum Natives releases and is currently building up to be a 3rd person adventure game, 'ProDance® Music Academy' where we get to explore the ProDance®'s exiled world and learn how to make music with him and to hopefully return to Earth. |

When we see ProDance® in the Where's My Stick video we're seeing him at a transmission system, an intergalactic signal post on a telecommunication exchange planet. He dials in
to planet earths web accessing their protocols and sends a upload request to Quantum Natives Records. During ProDance® 's abduction by an unknown intelligence he had time to contemplate the outer edges of his mind, fearing what could lie at the end of his universal journey. Images conjured up of blue oceanic planets sprinkled with islands of paradise to vast waste lands only to be inhabited by beasts from such movies like Alien. In the video Buddha Geometry Brain Toy (ProDance®'s name for the system he's in) we get see him navigate a small array of passages in a vast waste land only to be accompanied by his long lost fear the Xenomorth it self. But instead of running from it, he's trying to follow. The planet he's on is riddled with abundance of dimensional tools. Constructed by different lifeforms, here we have a Human teleportation centre rudimentary created by a past human race. A system that allows one to fully teleport beyond the speed of light, in doing so it acts as a save and formatting device of the body and soul. The operation of the 'machine' is a two being procedure in this case with a Xenomorth. During arrival at the complex your own worst fears fabricate before you but only to act as a guide and a strengthening tool to setup your psyche before departure. The ProDance® is pretty much lost in the whole waltz so after a time the Xeno had learned to distract him with things like skipping and other dances. Finally we get to see the ProDance® leave the planet – next stop Earth if all works out! |
