As part of a large digitalisaion project the National Gallery has been needing past exhibitions brought into real time virtual contex enabling the ablity of re visiting and presenting their history. “The Artist’s Eye” exhibitions at the National Gallery ran from 1975 to 1987 and invited contemporary artists to curate selections from the Gallery’s collection, offering personal and often provocative perspectives The National Gallery has recently revisited these exhibitions through its [re]curated virtual series, using digital tools to recreate and reflect on the original shows. These virtual tours include commentary from experts and offer insights into the curatorial decisions and public reception. |
